2024 EUPJ Shabbaton in Vienna
We are excited to announce our in-person EUPJ Shabbaton in Vienna, Austria, from 29 November to 1 December 2024. As well as providing us with the opportunity to join in services with our local congregation, Or Chadash, we will have an opportunity to discuss how our reality has changed since the tragic events of October 7. What is the place of Israel in our communities? How do we deal with rising antizionism and antisemitism? What can give us hope in these difficult times?
A full programme will be available nearer the time. We hope that participants will be able to join us from 3pm on Friday 29 November and stay until at least 1pm on 1 December. All Shabbaton guests are also invited to remain in Vienna until the evening of 1 December to join a tour of the Jewish Museum and attend a special concert organised by Or Chadash. Details will be shared upon registration.
Thanks to financial support for the Shabbaton from Keren Kayemeth Leyisrael via arzenu, we have a limited number of places available for EUR 300 including two nights of accommodation at our 4* conference hotel, meals during the conference and conference registration. For those not requiring accommodation, the cost will be EUR 100 per person for meals during the conference and conference registration. For security reasons, we will only share details of the conference hotel with registered participants.
