25 Years Progressive Judaism in Italy

The Italian Federation for Progressive Judaism gathered in Milan to celebrate 25 years of Progressive Judaism in Italy marking the founding of Lev Chadash and Beit Shalom congregations. The celebration was attended by Miriam Kramer, president of the EUPJ, who brought greetings and congratulations from the European Movement.

Fabio Benjamin Fantini, FIEP Board Member, commented: “It was a meaningful weekend of prayer, learning, remembrance, and community. The program included Kabbalat Shabbat and Shacharit services, visits to the Holocaust Memorial and an art museum, discussions on the growth of FIEP and its congregations, and a conference exploring 18th- and 19th-century Italian Jewish history.”
