European Beit Din in Rome

27 candidates, both old and young, from our Rome, Bologna and Milan communities, presented themselves to this Beit Din for conversion to Judaism. Some came with Jewish heritage; some had become disillusioned by their Christian upbringing and sought a more fulfilling faith; some had turned to Judaism after meeting Jewish partners; some came with a mix of all three motivations. ‘It is a privilege and and honour to help those really wonderful and committed individuals who want to join our people’. said Rabbi Jackie Tabick, convener of this Beit Din
