First e-Summit of European Jewish Leaders
The European Council of Jewish Communities will host its first e-Summit for European Jewish leaders who will come together to discuss the challenges faced by communities and organisations due to COVID.
The e-Summit will start on Saturday, 21 November at 18.00 (CET) and will conclude on Monday, 23 November at 14.00 (CET). During this time, we will offer the most innovative and relevant programme, including plenary sessions, parallel sessions, group discussions, guided tours to European cities, presentation of innovative solutions, supporting communities’ challenges, and more.
In a particularly strange and difficult year where COVID has shown the force of its impact, Jewish Community life thrives.
Lack of travel and government regulations on lockdowns and isolation have worked as catalysts for a new reality – social and financial – and impacted our Jewish life in Europe.
We believe that now more than ever, we need a space to discover how communities have used this challenge as an opportunity to change direction, pivot and grow.
The e-Summit is aimed at presidents, board members, volunteers and professionals from Jewish communities, national federations, regional organisations, foundations, cultural and sport associations, Jewish museums, grassroots organisations and innovative Jewish ventures from across Europe.
