The WUPJ is now accepting applications for Local Leadership Development Initiative (LLDI) grants for 2026, designed to strengthen communities through values-driven, locally rooted leadership.
LLDI supports innovative and collaborative initiatives in governance, education, youth, families, spirituality, culture, activism, community life, and Israel — including projects that adapt or translate leadership and Judaica materials to local languages and cultural contexts.
If your community is preparing to grow and expand its impact in 2026, we invite you to apply by 15 January 2026.
Together, by nurturing leadership, we ensure that the light we protect today continues to shine tomorrow.

We are excited to announce the launch of our international Musical Leadership Fellowship, created in partnership with Sing Unto God. This program is specifically designed for those who stand in front of a group and lead singing: songleaders, prayer leaders, musical educators, and community music facilitators.
This significantly subsidized fellowship includes:
- Fully covered flights, accommodation, and meals
• Training at the Hava Nashira Jewish Songleaders Conference (OSRUI, Wisconsin)
• Monthly webinars in songleading and leadership (March–December)
• Personal mentoring by leading Jewish songleaders
• A community site visit and international cohort learning
If you or someone you know carries the responsibility and privilege of leading music, prayer, or communal singing, this fellowship offers an unparalleled opportunity to grow, connect, and strengthen Jewish musical life worldwide.
